Core skills

These skills come with every TDT workspace; no optional stacks are required. Use them to manage your workspace, knowledge, projects and workflows through your agent. Select a skill below to read its usage guide. In Claude, invoke it with / before its name; in Codex, use $ or the skill picker.

Claude and Codex group automatic discovery under tdt-brain, tdt-reminders, tdt-relay, tdt-stacks, tdt-skills, tdt-workspace and tdt-mcp. You can also invoke the specialist skills below directly. Stack and approved user skills remain individually discoverable.

  • tdt-capture — Save explicitly supplied knowledge with sources and related links.

  • tdt-note — Save a tagged scratchpad idea and find related notes.

  • tdt-search-notes — Recall saved ideas and intentions through note content and subject tags.

  • tdt-add-project — Register an existing project without changing its files. Get an explanation of its purpose, structure and entry points.

  • tdt-relink-project — Reconnect a renamed or moved project and update its path-based identity and references.

  • tdt-remove-project — Archive, restore or permanently unregister a project, with optional reviewed reference cleanup.

  • tdt-constitution — Define or update your workspace's working rules and permission preferences, with review before saving changes.

  • tdt-add-skill — Create a skill from your own workflow with a chosen, duplicate-checked name.

  • tdt-find-skills — Find reusable workflows in accessible completed sessions, or save a workflow from your current work as a skill after your approval.

  • tdt-install-stack — Find and install an optional local or marketplace stack. Review its source, requirements and executable content before installation.

  • tdt-remove-stack — Uninstall a selected stack while preserving your brain notes, linked projects and user-created work.

  • tdt-review-brain — Review proposed knowledge and choose what to approve, edit or reject. Edited proposals remain pending until approved.

  • tdt-search — Answer questions using approved brain knowledge, cite sources and explain missing or conflicting evidence.

  • tdt-ui — Use local browser interviews and interactive pages, submit answers and continue the work with your agent.

  • tdt-update-stack — Inspect an available stack update and apply the exact replacement you approve.

  • tdt-mcp — Configure workspace MCP registration for Claude Code, Codex or both. Compare presets, inspect registration or remove it. Connection requires host setup.

  • tdt-workspace — Get oriented in your workspace, check its setup and find installed stacks, skills and usage guides.

  • tdt-relay — Ask another linked project for work, list open relays, or close a relay.

  • tdt-remind — Save, list, edit, snooze, complete or cancel one-time reminders.

  • tdt-check-reminders — Display newly due and overdue reminders manually, in chat or through a configured scheduler.
